Great service and atmosphere. We had just a simple lunch but the Tortelloni and Vincisgrassi was flawless. Would love to come back for a proper dinner.

The environment was a big part of what made this place special. It looked and felt like grandma's house. The dishes were simple but high quality ingredients. They didn't bring us a menu, but instead listed the options for each course, which might be a little complicated if you don't speak Italian. Perhaps they do have a menu and just didn't bring it. Antipasto of prosciutto and cheese and olives was very good quality. The olives had a lovely hint of lemon. The chickpea soup was simple but very good. Tagliatelle were homemade and the sauce was so good. Tortellini were rich and creamy and the cream sauce was flavorful. I'm so glad a friend recommended this place.

This is a real experience, we sat on the first floor and we're served by someone who spoke English, otherwise this would have been an even bigger adventure. The pasta was so tasty I could not remember having tasted it like that before. If you are in the neighborhood definitely go here.

Trattoria Anita is one of these authentic places, increasingly rare, where you don't go just to eat home-made dishes, but to breathe the simple life of the past. We ate well, everything homemade. Excellent hospitality and attentive service. I will definitely return also to say hello to the lady who continues to manage this place for 85 years.
